Project Overview:

Logos Public Charter School’s new Tutoring & Performing Arts Building expands the school’s Medford campus with a flexible environment designed for learning, creativity and community connection.
The 17,396-square-foot facility includes specialized tutoring and academic-support rooms, meeting spaces, offices, a music classroom and a large central room that can accommodate performing arts, group activities and community events.
Workspace helped furnish the new building with adaptable solutions that support the many ways students, educators and families use the space. From focused tutoring and small-group meetings to performances and larger gatherings, the furniture needed to be comfortable, durable and easy to arrange for different activities.

Flexible Furniture for a Multifunctional School

The central performing-arts and event space features mobile tables and seating that can be rearranged as the room transitions between instruction, collaboration, performances and community use.

Smaller tutoring and meeting rooms provide practical settings for individualized instruction and academic support, while lounge seating placed throughout the building creates welcoming areas where students can gather, wait or work informally.

Bright orange seating complements the building’s colorful nature-inspired mural and brings warmth and energy to the hallways and common areas. The finished environment feels creative and inviting while remaining functional for the school’s day-to-day needs.

A Space Designed to Support Students

Logos provides personalized educational opportunities for students in kindergarten through 12th grade. The new building gives the school additional space to provide tutoring, academic support, performing-arts programming and community events for years to come.
