Project Manager — Office Furniture Dealership
What You’ll Do:
As a Project Manager at Workspace, you’re the driving force behind every client project — a strategic leader who turns vision into reality. You’ll manage complex commercial furniture projects from initial sale through final installation, ensuring every detail is handled with precision, every stakeholder is informed, and every client walks away delighted.
You’ll guide internal teams, clients, and vendor partners through each project milestone, balancing timelines, budgets, and quality standards to deliver exceptional results.
Your Responsibilities:
- Own the full project lifecycle — from project kick-off to close-out — ensuring all deliverables are on time, on budget, and aligned with client expectations.
- Serve as a primary client contact, building strong, trusted relationships through proactive communication and consistent follow-up.
- Manage schedules, budgets, and logistics, coordinating with sales, design, operations, and installation partners to maintain seamless execution.
- Review and track all project documentation, including floor plans, quotes, and change orders, ensuring design intent aligns with installation outcomes.
- Plan and coordinate delivery and installation schedules, anticipating challenges and implementing solutions before they become roadblocks.
- Lead on-site activities, including site walks, punch lists, and final sign-offs, representing Workspace with professionalism and confidence.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, sales teams, and vendor partners to ensure all aspects of the project align with client goals.
- Oversee project close-out — final documentation, client satisfaction follow-ups, and warranty coordination.
- Continuously refine processes, seeking opportunities to enhance efficiency, communication, and client experience across all projects.
- Travel (up to 20%) for site visits, client meetings, and project installations.

You’re an experienced project leader who thrives on structure, clarity, and collaboration. You have a passion for creating beautiful, functional spaces — and the organizational skill to make them happen smoothly.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Project Management, Interior Design, Business, or related field).
- 3–5 years of experience in project management within an office furniture, commercial interiors, or related environment.
- Proven success managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, client-facing role.
- Experience with procurement, logistics, and vendor coordination in a design or contract furniture context.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (CORE or similar) preferred.
- Working knowledge of CET Designer, AutoCAD, Project Spec, or Cap 2020 a plus.

- Strong leadership and client management skills — you know how to guide, influence, and communicate clearly at every level.
- Excellent organization and time management; capable of juggling multiple complex projects with composure.
- Detail-oriented and quality-driven, with an ability to anticipate issues and solve them proactively.
- Skilled communicator — professional, approachable, and confident in written and verbal exchanges.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; Adobe Creative Suite experience a plus.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Designer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the commercial furniture industry, with strong technical skills in AutoCAD and CET Designer. This role will support our sales and project management teams by creating accurate space plans, furniture specifications, and design presentations that balance functionality, aesthetics, and budget.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and produce detailed drawings, floorplans, and 3D renderings using AutoCAD and CET Designer.
- Create accurate specifications for furniture orders, including finishes, options, and accessories.
- Collaborate with sales and project managers to understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Assist with space planning and layout to ensure ADA compliance and optimal functionality.
- Prepare client presentations and design boards to communicate design concepts.
- Stay current on product knowledge, manufacturer updates, and design trends.
- Provide support during client meetings and presentations, as needed.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of design experience (preferably in the commercial furniture industry).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and CET Designer is required.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field preferred, but not required.

FURNITURE INSTALLER - WORKSPACE
Job Title: Furniture Installer – Workspace
Location: Medford, OR
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday (weekends & overtime)
Position Overview:
Workspace is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Furniture Installer to join our dynamic installation team. You will be responsible for the delivery, assembly, and installation of modular office furniture and panel systems, ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembling, installing, and disassembling office furniture systems according to manufacturer instructions and diagrams.
- Safely handling furniture components, including desks, chairs, cubicles, filing cabinets, and shelving units.
- Ensuring furniture is properly aligned, leveled, and secured to prevent accidents or damage.
- Loading and unloading trucks.
- Read and interpret floorplans, delivery tickets, bills of lading, and technical diagrams
- Coordinate with team members and project managers to ensure efficient and accurate installations
- Safely handle, transport, and stage all components and tools on-site
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues on the fly
- Install and test power components (modules, jumpers, in-feeds) to ensure functionality and safety
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- Provide a clean and professional workspace upon completion
- Communicate with clients on-site to clarify layout or resolve any concerns
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of electrical components and low-voltage systems a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work from technical drawings and follow detailed instructions
- Valid Oregon driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Preferred Attributes:
- OSHA 10/30 or similar safety certification
- Experience with systems from manufacturers like Herman Miller or Knoll
- Previous experience with commercial moving, office furniture installation or commercial construction preferred.
